The Park Forest Art Fair is a high quality, juried art fair. 100 juried artists exhibit their works in a variety of media. There will be jewelry, blown and stained glass, fiber, wood, metal sculpture, watercolors, acrylics and more. All work is for sale.

The popular Youth Art Contest provides an opportunity for children to participate in the activities of the Fair by creating their own masterpiece.

The musical group ‘Patchouli’ is returning for the 2008 Fair and will be performing during the Fair hours all weekend. Several food vendors will set up on Cunningham Drive. There is free parking and free admission.

An awards ceremony is held on Sunday at 1:30 pm by the flagpole on Main Street. Art Fair winners will receive their cash prizes and Purchase Award donors will receive their work of art.

So plan to bring the family. Come out and enjoy an afternoon of art and music.

Downtown Park Forest is located south of US Route 30 between Western Avenue, Orchard Drive and Indianwood Boulevard.
