Beaux Arts Ball 2021

Strolling Down Memory Lane

A VIRTUAL BEAUX ARTS BALL AND YOU ARE INVITED

Covid19 has taught us all to be creative; to figure out how to cope. Whether its communicating with family by Zoom or getting news by listening to Podcasts, we have adjusted. Arts organizations have also learned to use creativity to survive.

Last year, Tall Grass Arts Association had to cancel all of its in-person fundraisers. To our surprise, hosting these events on-line turned out to be lots of fun and generated quite a bit of support.

In order to ensure that gallery exhibits continue to be of the highest caliber, the art school continues to offer wonderful classes to children and adults and the Park Forest Art Fair continues to attract high quality artists and an enthusiastic audience, Tall Grass will once again offer its Beaux Arts Ball virtually and you are invited!

The Ball, which typically honors an outstanding artist or art supporter, will feature a Zoom event on June 26 at 6:00 p.m. honoring Terry Medhurst.

Terry moved to Park Forest in 1960 and began a lifetime of service to, and support of, the arts. This included Tall Grass Arts Association, the Chansonettes, Grande Praire Choral Arts, the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.
