Tall Grass Arts Association
2017 Annual Fund Drive
In order to continue our mission to promote public education and
appreciation of the arts, TGAA is announcing its 2017 Annual Fund Drive. In addition, the Village of Park Forest has
issued a $10,000 Challenge Grant which matches dollar for dollar whatever we
raise, up to $10,000. We ask for your
help to reach this goal.
The arts are essential in our lives. They are a necessity to the health and
vitality of society as a whole and more importantly in our local neighborhoods.
The attraction to any form of the arts enhances community development and
provides a stage to blend backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures.
Gallery exhibitions are one way of promoting art appreciation and
inspiration. Tall Grass will continue to
host outstanding exhibits. The 2018
schedule includes a regional College Art Faculty invitational show and a
traveling exhibit curated by Sergio Gomez titled, “I AM American.”
An essential part of education, the arts encourage student confidence
and allow for more engagement in learning.
It is a high priority for Tall Grass to maintain the school providing
classes for children and adults and to provide After School Workshops at a
local grade school.
We know there are many demands for your money and support but we ask
that you please consider making a donation to the TGAA Annual Fund. Download a donation form or make a donation
Thank you in advance for your commitment to help Tall Grass Arts
Association keep the arts alive in the Southland.
