Art of Giving

ART OF GIVING

Opening with a reception on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 1-3pm, Tall Grass Gallery will present its annual Holiday Show and Sale, The Art of Giving, with the works of nearly forty artists.

The exhibit will offer visitors a wide array of original works of art and craft to view and purchase for Holiday gift-giving, all within a very reasonable price range.

Among the types of items for sale are glass bowls, plates, dishes, vases and ornaments; photographs; small watercolor, oil, acrylic, and pastel paintings; matted prints; cotton knit and satin scarves; necklaces, bracelets and earrings in many different materials, techniques and styles; a wide variety of individual and sets of notecards and holiday cards; artists’ designed notebooks and journals; hand-stitched fiber pieces; wood, metal, and found-object sculptures, assemblages, bird houses, flower holders, and wreaths; money and gift card holders; gift tags; books of original photographs and a collection of scriptures; mugs; t-shirts; placemats; and charming needle-felted figures. 

Included in the large group of artists in this year’s show are: Brenda Anderson, Robert Bator, Darcy Berg, Judi Boehner, Susan Brauer, Peter Brenner, Sylvia Cook, Christina Cooley, Linda Curl, Pam Eberlin, Bronwyn Elkuss, June Finnegan, Susan Flanagan, Andrea Fox, Margi Hafer, Cedric Hampton, Fran Hollander, Susan Johnson, Susan Larsen, Susan Lemerand, Pam McDonald, Tara McGee, Jennifer Meyer, Chuck Michaels, Patricia Moore, Diane Nadler, Bob Nardi, Julia Oehmke, Joan Quirke, Sandy Squillo, Doug Stein, Patricia Stewart, Catherine Trezek, Nance Tucker, Randy Turner, Susan Wade, and Reg Ziemann.

Visitors to The Art of Giving will find the collections of each artist displayed together on tables, pedestals, and walls to make selecting multiple works by one artist easy, and members of Tall Grass will receive a 10% discount on each purchase they make from both the exhibit and our Gift Shop.

Curated by Claudia Craemer and Debbie Craemer, The Art of Giving will be on view through January 8, 2022. All are welcome to attend the opening reception for the show on Saturday, November 20, from 1–3pm and to meet the artists who will share so many wonderful, one-of-a-kind art works to give during this Holiday season.
