MULTI-PLICITY

Tall Grass Arts Association will present a new exhibit, MULTI-PLICITY, opening on Saturday, June 18, 2022, with an Artists’ Reception from 1–3pm. The show will be up through July 23.

Fifty-four artists bring works to the exhibit that exist as multiple frames, panels, compartments, elements, or grids and that are read as one whole – as a sequence or continuum, a progression or repetition, or a collection of variations. A diverse group of subjects and styles are included as pairs, diptychs, triptychs, series, and installations.

MULTI-PLICITY includes a range of media – drawing, painting, mixed media, prints, photography, digital works, sculpture, fabric, and glass.

Curators for the exhibit are Claudia Craemer, artist, juror and curator for numerous regional solo and group exhibits, and Debbie Craemer, Tall Grass Gallery Committee member and juror and curator for several Tall Grass exhibits. Judging the works for prizes will be award-winning artist and educator Jessica Smit Mattingly.

All are invited to attend the Opening Day Reception on Saturday, June 18, from 1-3pm, to view the show and meet the artists.
