Water Street Studios Artist Collective
Tall Grass Arts Association will welcome the Water Street Studios Artist Collective to its Gallery with an exhibit of many of its members’ works opening on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
A community of artists dedicated to bringing the highest quality art to the western Chicago region, the purpose of the Water Street Studios Artist Collective is to support Water Street Studios’ mission by fostering a mutually supportive environment that encourages community, gallery involvement, and professional growth.
The Tall Grass show will present works by these artists: Les Allen, Glenn Bodish, Jeffrey Brooks, Richard DeVeau, Maureen Gasek, Deborah Glascott, David Hauptschein, Jeanine Hill-Soldner, Christopher Hodge, Anke Richert- Korioth, Bill McGrath, Janice Meister, Joe B. Milosevich, Pedro J. Palacios, Colin Sherrell, Steve Sherrell, Perry Slade, Michele Thrane, Rosalie Vass, Carol Weber, and Angela Wilson.
The works in the exhibit include oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings; ink and colored pencil drawings; traditional and digitally altered photographs; mixed media monoprint constructions; multi-media sculptures; mixed object assemblages; and encaustic monotypes.
Curated by Steve Sherrell, Claudia Craemer, and Deborah Craemer, the Water Street Collective’s show will run through June 3, 2023.
The Artists’ Reception on Saturday, April 29, is open to all from 1 to 3 pm.
